Baazov was charged in March with five counts, including influencing or attempting to influence the market price of the securities of Amaya. The AMF says the deals typically involved a 10 per cent kickback of net profits for the information, according to emails and text messages it obtained. Ofer Josh Baazov, who lives outside Canada according to sources, did not respond to written questions from The Globe. Evidence of suspicious trading is not enough.
